Youth Red Cross
The Red Cross Society is a universally accepted, admired and internationally identified humanitarian service organization. It was established in 1863 in Geneva, Switzerland. The Father of Red Cross movement and recipient of noble award for peace in 1901 was “Jean Henry Dunant”, who was a successful businessman. Youth Red Cross helps the students to inculcate discipline in them and to understand their responsibilities towards their countrymen, especially the poor and downtrodden. YRC in Jansons Institute of Technology organized various health related awareness programme for students and village people. Also, YRC organized various environmental conservation programmes for the sustainable development.
National Service Scheme
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian government-sponsored public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India. The scheme was launched in Gandhiji's Centenary year in 1969. The main objective of the NSS is developing student's personality through community service and the Motto is Not Me But You. NSS in Jansons Institute of Technology plays a vital role in organizing many awareness programme, training for students and rural people for their development.
