DESCRIPTION:To create an innovative ecosystem within the institution\, JIT-IIC in association with Computer Society of India organized a workshop on ”Prototype Modelling” called as THULIR for the Second year students on 18.03.2023(01:30PM-4:15PM). At the beginning of the session\, all the namely dignitaries\nDr.M.Madheswaran / Chief Mentor\, Mrs.M.S.Krishna Priya (Faculty Coordinator) of this event has arrived on Dias. The session started with the Welcome Address by Ms.S.G. Sruthi Sree\, 2rd Year Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and then\, Mr.M. Madheswaran provided an introduction to the event and then officially kicked it off. He described the steps needed to develop a project. He gave an explanation of the value of idea generation. The uniqueness of a project idea is a crucial component that is being developed by everyone and is what makes the project successful. After his motivational speech\, the students began to describe their concepts and the originality they contained. Initially\, Mr.Vaibhav (II Year AI) and his team mates presented their concept. His concept entails developing a voice-activated wallet that aids the blind. When we insert the money into this wallet\, the wallet detects the note. It indicate the person how much the amount is. The notion for a supporter that accompanies everyone while travelling was proposed next by Mr. Charaschandra (II Year AI) and his crew. It provides details on the lodging options\, dining options\, and entertainment venues in the region they are visiting. It will grow into a fantastic resource for everyone. Likewise\, 16 teams presented their ideas\, which touched on a variety of topics including medicine\, education\, tourism\, currency\, and so forth. This workshop enabled the identification of numerous emerging concepts that will significantly advance growth.

The session started with the Welcome Address by Ms.M.Vasundhara\, 3rd Year Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Student\, then Dr G Vetrichelvi\, Director Research\, JIT-IIC\, reveals the keynote address about the “THULIR” a Prototype Modelling to the students. The session was handled by the students of 3rd Year\, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data science. There are 11 teams\, around 31 students has participated. Each team has present their Ideas about the project and receive feedback from the Dignities. Every team provided their project description as following\, the problem statement\, set of goals for the project\, the overall objective for the project as well as a project plan that describes the activities of the team members. They also explained about the tools and materials required for prototyping. Overall the event is an interactive that equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to build effective prototypes for a variety of applications. Then the appraisal session has done by Dr.G Vetrichelvi in order to analyse the performance of the students work. She lean towards positivity\, placing an emphasis on the project development  and encouraging the students for further process. The session ended with a vote of thanks by Ms.M.Nandhana\,3rd Year Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Student.

Design Thinking involves creative problem solving which draws upon logic\, imagination\, intuition and systemic reasoning. \n Stages of Design Thinking : \n 1.Empathy \n2.Define \n3.Ideate \n4.Prototype \n5.Test \nThe knowledge sharing program was designed for students to enhance their knowledge towards projects on advancement of Artificial Intelligence.This session helps to gather different ideas based on social\, AI technology related problems etc.. \nStudents shown a greater interest in presenting their project ideas through PPT slides. One of the Student’s  project is as follows\, \nIt is based on “Plastic pollution” \nHe describes about the “CleanO app”. It also involves in creating trash cane which scans the QR code present in plastic materials such as bottles\, wrappers\, bags  etc. The scanning of this QR code provides some points to us through this CleanO app. These points can be utilized in some online purchases. \n  \n
