About O/o Controller of Examinations

The Office of the Controller of Examinations is equipped with state-of-the-art technological infrastructure to ensure efficient and effective operations. The Office of the CoE is located in the Main Block of the College. The office features a spacious and air-conditioned environment designed to accommodate its extensive functions.

The facility includes ample storage capacity for question papers, answer sheets, and other examination materials. Additionally, the office is complemented by an attached store room for further storage needs, supporting the smooth management and administration of examinations.

The objectives of the Office of the Controller of Examinations are:

  • To oversee and manage the smooth and efficient administration of both Continuous Internal Assessments and End Semester Examinations, ensuring that all processes adhere to the established guidelines and standards.
  • To uphold strict confidentiality in all examination-related activities, safeguarding the integrity of the examination process and ensuring that information remains secure among students, faculty, parents, and other stakeholders of the Institute.
  • To implement and enforce procedures that guarantee fairness and transparency in the examination process, providing equal opportunities for all students and addressing any concerns related to examination practices.
  • To maintain comprehensive and accurate records of examination results, student performance, and related documentation for future reference and accountability.
  • To offer assistance and guidance to students, faculty, and staff regarding examination procedures, regulations, and any issues that may arise, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
  • To develop, review, and monitor examination policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and in line with institutional and regulatory standards.
  • To investigate and address any irregularities or issues related to the examination process, including academic misconduct, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • To evaluate the effectiveness of examination procedures and seek opportunities for improvement, incorporating feedback from stakeholders to enhance the overall examination experience.
