The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a Webinar on “Reengineering Process Model” on 11.05.2022. The session was taken forward through hybrid mode.
Dr.R.N.Devendra Kumar, Assistant Professor(Sr. Gr), Department of Computer Science, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore was the Resource Person for the Session. He interacted and shared his knowledge on experience and importance of Re-engineering process and also he explained how BPR is often pursued to improve procedures, productivity, cost reduction, customer service, and create a competitive edge. Continuous process improvement (CPI) is related to business process reengineering (BPR) in that the goal is to lower costs, increase productivity, or improve some other aspect of business operations discussed clearly among the participants.Participants were briefed about how,
- The number of steps in a process be reduced.
- Stages can be combine to make it easier to follow.
- It is possible to repurpose an existing system or tool to save time or improve results.
- To reduce the costs of this procedure without lowering the product value.
The Webinar Talk was well attended by over 69 participants from Second Year CSE. The feedback received was very commendable in all aspects.
