Department of EEE organized a guest lecture on “Embedded Computing system in Industries” for the subject EC8691-Microporcessors and Microcontrollers. The seminar was handled for the students of III year CSE and IV year EEE. The invited speaker was Mr.Johnson Rubanraj X., Software Project Developer, Bosch Global software technologies. The program started by 10.a.m. The welcome address was given by Dr.T.Meenakshi, Professor and Head/EEE and introduced the chief guest to the students. She the invited the speaker to deliver the guest lecture. The resource person highlighted the role of microprocessors and microcontrollers in core industries. He specified the types of communication used between devices and related with the subjects of study. He also highlighted the technical advancements in the core industries and how a software engineer could equip himself to get placed in a core industry. The session was followed by the question and answer session. Finally Dr.S.Elangovan , Vice Principal thanked the guest for his speech and the students for their active participation.
