Energy conservation is the decision and practice of using less energy. Turning off the light when you leave the room, unplugging appliances when they’re not in use and walking instead of driving are all examples of energy conservation. Energy conservation is incredibly important for several reasons. Along with reducing our reliance on non-renewable energy resources (like fossil fuels), it also helps save you money on energy costs, including utility bills and other energy bills.

The day also highlights measures in which ordinary people can come together and lessen their energy consumption. In this regard Energia Club and NSS of Jansons Institute of Technology organized an event on “Awareness Campaign on Energy Saving & Utilization”. The Event was conducted at Rayarpalayam (Village), Coimbatore by an Energia club members and NSS Volunteers of Jansons Institute of Technology on 4th March,2023. Our Energia Club members and faculty members created awareness for energy conservation and energy savings importance.
