Good Touch and Bad Touch (PUPS, Chennappachetti Pudur)

Any touch that makes the child happy or secure is good. Any touch that makes a child afraid, uncomfortable or nervous is a bad touch. Our NSS Volunteers conversed about good touch and bad touch which helped them understand the importance and meaning of safe and acceptable touch. It helps them understand that they can say “NO”. It made them aware and sensitized them towards things like child sex abuse. Students learnt more about good touch and bad touch. They got idea about it and became aware about it. We taught the children what to do if someone tries a bad touch, and what to do if someone tries good touch.
