Teachers: Leading in crisis, reimagining the future

An Online Discussion Event (Vivadha Arangam) was conducted by the Tamil Mandram of Jansons Institute of Technology in the remembrance of Teachers Day. The Theme of the discussion session was “Teachers: Leading in crisis, reimagining the future”. The discussion about the topics was made by the students of Jansons Institute of Technology. The event link was shared to all the students of various departments. A total 110 Participants (60 Faculties and 50 Students) joined the online session. The event was started with a welcome address delivered by Mr.R.Baskar, IV Mech followed by the “Tamil Thai Valthu”. The following Students from the different department shared their thoughts over the topic

  • Mr. Senthurvelan, IV ECE discussed in the title “Teaching is a noble profession”: How teachers helps in students career building and finding the talents of the students to shine were shared by him with real-life examples.
  • Ms. Angel Melba, III CSE shared her view on the topic “Lessons taught by Covid towards Online Learning”: How the online education method helped in the pandemic period and the efforts take by the teachers to share the knowledge were expressed to the participants.
  • Ms. Hamsadurga, III ECE expressed her view over the title “Teachers Contribution towards the education system”: Education systems – how it is framed, how the teachers providing supports to the students and efforts made to improve the literacy were clearly expressed

A video was presented about the life history of Dr. Radhakrishnan after the speech. Finally the session was ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr.R.Baskar, IV Mech. Participants felt the session was interesting and informative.
