Workshop on Skill Enhancement in Manufacturing and Production

SAE India JIT Collegiate Club of Mechanical Engineering Department of Jansons Institute of Technology, organises a one-day Workshop on Skill Enhancement in Manufacturing and Production for Students of Polytechnic colleges, In association with COINDIA, Coimbatore on 01.04.2022(Friday) at Sivaganga Auditorium.

The registration process is made through online and spot registration. Total of 299 registration from 15 polytechnics of various districts and state. Out of 295 registration 175 students participated.

The inaugural function starts by 10.20AM. The MoC was done by Mr.G.Subash and Mr.Aruneswar, of third year Mechanical Engineering and Dr. M. Muthukumaran, HoD/Mechanical, JIT, Welcomed the gathering.

Mr D. Rajaji, Head Training and Development, COINDIA, was the chief guest for the one-day Workshop on Skill Enhancement in Manufacturing and Production for Students of Polytechnic colleges. Mr.D.Rajaji highlighted the current industrial requirements and also spotted the areas to be improved by the technical students.

Dr. M. V. Suresh Kumar, Director – Administration, JIT, Presented the memento to the chief guest Mr D. Rajaji, Head Training and Development, COINDIA and to the trainers Mr. K. VELLINGIRI, Senior Engineer, COINDIA, Coimbatore, Mr. C. PRABHAKAR, Senior Engineer, COINDIA, Coimbatore, Mr. V.GOBI KARTHICK, Senior Engineer, COINDIA, Coimbatore.

The workshop started by 10.30AM. The student learned about the CNC programming techniques and in parallel Hands on training was made in computer centre of JIT using CNC train software.

The valedictory was by around 04.00PM and the vote of thanks was by Dr. M. V. Suresh Kumar, Director – Administration, JIT.

For all the participants Participation certificate was provided.
