Knowledge Sharing Programme

The Knowledge Sharing Programme was conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with Programming Club on 29^th January 2020 at LH 8. The programme is to enhance their knowledge in search and pattern recommendation. The participants were introduced about search engines and the significant impact they had created during the last decade. Examples of the Amazon shopping recommendation engine and the Netflix movie recommendation engine were discussed.

An overview of recommendations and search engines using a social network approach were discussed. The session highlighted the similarities and differences between these two major emerging technologies in the social network.
