An Awareness program on “3R Strategy :Reduce, Reuse and Recycle ”

Awareness among public about the 3R Strategy is very much essential at this circumstance. On this regard awareness on “3R Strategy: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle” was organized by JIT sustainability cell at Chennappa Chetti Pudhur Village.

Students of the sustainability Cell segregate themselves into 10 groups A common discussion on the awareness creation to rural public on 3R strategy. The Students approached the public at their place and explained on the importance of 3R strategy and the ways to be adopted for reducing the waste, reusing and recycling the waste generated at their households. The students created awareness to the shopkeepers on disposal of the waste and educated them on recycling the biodegradable wastes into useful products.
