Dream 2070 

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering conducted a visionary contest in the name of “Dream 2070” on 12.10.2020 from 10 am to 11 am virtually via big blue button.  The contest is conducted virtually at Big Blue Button platform.  The contest was broadcasted via Moodle in the link https://ims.jit.ac.in/moodle/mod/page/view.php?id=26395. All the students and faculty members of Department of EEE participated as spectators in the above said link. Initially, Dr.T. Meenakshi, the moderator of the event delivered welcome address.  Dr.S. Elangovan, HoD-EEE addressed the participants and explained about the benefits of Dream 2070. He also thanked VC sir for initiating the same.  All the three teams have made their own video about their technological idea and the same were played and also they have presented their idea.  The teams were evaluated based on their idea originality, presentation and handling of Q& A session by them.  At the end of the session, Dr.S. Elangovan congratulated all the teams for their participation and motivated all the participants and wished them for implementing all their ideas and to make their ideas into reality in future.  He also added that all the three ideas can be made interactive with each other to make the complete smartness into their ideas. Totally, 41 students and 6 faculty members have attended the event.
