Avoid Single Use Plastics

The ” Avoid Single Use Plastics ” event on Nov 12, 2024, from 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm, at the Lecture Hall of Jansons Institute of Technology, was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) in collaboration with NDLI Club and second-year students. The event commenced with an opening ceremony featuring a welcome address and an introduction to the event by Ms. Gracelin Stephy from II Year ECE. Following the opening ceremony, Ms . Sri Akshaya T from II Year AI&DS presented a ppt about the cause of single use plastics. Which gave an insights to avoid the plastics.Afterward Ms. Singu Harshitha from II Year CSBS , played a wonderful mime which made everyone to understand the impacts of Using plastics.Then, Ms. Ramija Banu M from II Year ECE gave an interactive English Speech on the topic of “Avoid Single Use Plastics”. The event concluded by with a feedback session and closing remarks by Mr . Rubaash from II Year MECH. Overall, the event successfully motivated attendees to embrace eco-friendly practices, inspiring a broader commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability within their communities.
