National Pollution Control Day
The “National Pollution Control Day” event on Dec 2, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, at Seminar Hall of Jansons Institute of Technology, was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) in collaboration with Institution’s Innovation Council(IIC) and NDLI Club. The event commenced with an opening ceremony featuring a welcome address and an introduction to the event by Ms. Rithaniya S from II Year AI&DS, who introduced the significance of National Pollution Control Day and the importance of finding sustainable solutions to pollution.Following this, Ms. Jananitha R from II Year Civil Engineering, delivered an insightful speech on the impact of pollution on health and the environment, and the need for innovation in tackling these issues. She highlighted recent advancements in pollution control technologies and the role of individuals in reducing environmental damage.The event also featured a session where students presented their innovative ideas and solutions to prevent pollution, sparking lively discussions and sharing of practical approaches. The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. R. Mashvitha Sri from II Year ECE, who expressed gratitude to all speakers and participants for their efforts in making the event successful.The program successfully emphasized the importance of innovative thinking in creating a pollution-free future.
