The “Road Safety Awareness Program” event on Feb 28, 2025, from 03:00 PM at Unjapalayam Village, was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS).  The event began with a welcome address by Ms. Ramija Banu, II ECE, followed by a briefing by Ms. Jananitha R, II CIVIL, who highlighted the importance of road safety measures such as wearing helmets, using seat belts, and following traffic signals. To maximize outreach, NSS volunteers were assigned to different areas of the village—South, North, East, and West—where they engaged with residents and spread awareness about safe road habits. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Parkavi, II CSBS, expressing gratitude to all contributors. The session effectively promoted responsible road behavior, helping to enhance safety awareness within the community.
