World Environment Day – Slogan Contest
World Environment Day was celebrated in our institution on June 5, 2025, with a focus on ending plastic pollution through innovation and entrepreneurship organised by NSS and IIC. The event aimed to raise awareness about the devastating impact of plastic pollution and promote sustainable practices. Participants attended an awareness session, learning about the effects of plastic pollution and potential solutions. An ideation session followed, where students and faculty shared innovative ideas on reducing plastic waste and promoting eco-friendly alternatives. The institution reaffirmed its commitment to reducing plastic usage and promoting environmentally friendly practices. The celebration inspired participants to take action against plastic pollution and encouraged the adoption of sustainable practices in daily life. By promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, the event emphasized the importance of collective action to protect the planet. The institution’s efforts aligned with the global theme of “Beat Plastic Pollution,” fostering a sense of responsibility among participants to contribute to a more sustainable future.
A slogan contest was also organized, and the winners were:

- Second Prize: Venkatesh Kumar, III CSE – Your World Your Responsibility – Innovate and Implement
