The 79th Independence Day celebration was held on August 15, 2024, at Jansons Institute of Technology. The event was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS), Youth Red Cross (YRC), and Innovation Institutional Council (IIC). Dr. M.V. Sureshkumar, Director of Administration, hoisted the national flag, marking the beginning of the celebration. Students delivered speeches in Tamil and English, emphasizing unity, progress, and innovation for a developed India. Sathya from III Civil welcomed the gathering, while Ms. Vinitha from I Year ECE and Ms. Sanmathi from II Year CSE delivered inspiring speeches. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Bharath M from II Year ECE. Refreshments were served, and students celebrated the spirit of independence, showcasing their innovative ideas for a brighter future.
