The webinar titled “CLOUD – 360: Innovation at the Edge” was organized by the Iterators Club in association with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jansons Institute of Technology, on 24th October 2025. The invited resource person, Mr. Sivasubramanian J., a Network Engineer and Automation Specialist from Cloud Institutions, delivered an insightful and interactive session focusing on the innovations happening in the field of cloud and edge computing. The webinar began with a formal welcome address followed by an introduction to the speaker. Mr. Sivasubramanian started the session by explaining the fundamentals of cloud computing, its service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and deployment models (public, private, hybrid, and community). He then elaborated on the concept of edge computing and how it enhances cloud performance by bringing computation closer to the data source. Through real-world examples, he illustrated how industries leverage the synergy of cloud and edge technologies for automation, IoT, and AI-based applications.
