Say No to Drugs:A Friend’s Guide

The event Say No to Drugs: A Friend’s Guide was held on July 15, 2025, from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM at the Seminar Hall, Jansons Institute of Technology. It was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) in association with the Anti-Drug Club. The program began with a welcome address that highlighted the growing concern of drug abuse among youth and the importance of creating awareness. Resource persons and faculty members shared insights on the physical, psychological, and social consequences of drug addiction. The session emphasized the crucial role of friends in guiding peers away from harmful influences and promoting a healthy, positive lifestyle. Interactive discussions and real-life examples made the program more engaging and impactful for students. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the organizers and participants. The initiative successfully motivated students to take a stand against drugs and support one another in building a drug-free campus.
