Technology and Innovation for Climate Change

The event Technology and Innovation for Climate Change was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) in association with JIT Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) on 11th November 2025 at the Seminar Hall. Designed as an orientation for first-year NSS volunteers, the program focused on raising awareness about environmental challenges and the importance of technological innovations in addressing them. The session highlighted how emerging technologies such as renewable energy, green infrastructure, and sustainable product design can help mitigate climate impacts. Guest speakers and coordinators motivated volunteers to think creatively and act responsibly toward the environment. Students actively participated in discussions and shared innovative ideas to support climate action initiatives. The event successfully integrated environmental awareness with innovation, inspiring volunteers to take part in sustainable community development projects.
