Independence Day

Jansons Institute of Technology celebrated Independence Day on 15.08.2026 with a solemn and patriotic programme commencing at 8:10 AM. The event began with a Welcome Address delivered by Ms. Raveenasree R from the CSBS Department, who warmly welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, and students.

The programme continued with Tamil Thai Vaalthu, followed by the Flag Hoisting ceremony conducted by Dr. M. V. Suresh Kumar, Director – Administration. The National Anthem was then rendered with due respect and patriotic spirit by all the participants.

As part of the celebration, Ms. Harini R from the ECE Department delivered a speech in Tamil, highlighting the significance of Independence Day, while Ms. Harini S from the Civil Department delivered an inspiring speech in English. Their speeches reflected the importance of freedom, patriotism, unity, and the responsibilities of the younger generation towards the nation.

The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Raveenasree R from the CSBS Department, expressing gratitude to the dignitary, faculty members, students, and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the celebration.
