The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an Alumnus Talk & Webinar on “Supply Chain Analytics Beyond Our Imagination – A Walkthrough” on 12.08.2020. The session was taken forward through online.
Our Alumnus, Mr. Mahesh M K S, Supply Chain Consultant, Dominion Global, France was the Resource Person for the Session. He interacted and shared his knowledge on Supply Chain Analytics and Optimization among the participants. Participants were briefed about how,
- To understand the importance of the basics of Business Analytics and Optimization.
- To understand the importance of the basics of Supply Chain Analytics and Optimization.
- To visualize various Supply chain metrics to be tracked in addition to understanding facility location and designing network
- To analyze the level of uncertainty associated with the supply of products and services to targeted customer segments and justify the choice of a supply chain strategy and its fit with competitive strategy.
The Alumnus Talk & Webinar was well attended by over 175 participants which included Graduates, Postgraduates, Academicians and Industrialists. The feedback received was very commendable in all aspects.
