One day workshop on the Open Source simulation software “Scilab”

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering arranged a One day workshop on the Open Source simulation software “Scilab” on 19.06.2018 for its II and III year EEE students at CADD lab.  The workshop started with basic simulation of DC and AC electric circuits, basic electrical machines circuits, Power electronics circuits and Power system studies. The workshop also includes the programming of Scilab.  Structured programming concepts such looping, branching operation were explained to the students.  The students were given a hands-on simulation workshop during the workshop. The workshop was well received by the students.  They gave a good feedback and requested further workshops like this.
