Seminar on “ARM & IoT – Need for Electrical Engineers”- Alumni interaction

The Alumni Interaction was arranged for II year and III year students of B.E. – Electrical and Electronics Engineering.The programme was invocated with an introduction of Alumnus Mr.Gokul Babu, Specialist, Penetration test, Standard Charted Bank, Bellandur, Bangalore by Dr.S. Elangovan, Professor, Dept. of EEE.  Mr.B. Gokul is our Alumnus of 2017 pass out B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engg Graduate.  

          Mr. Gokul explained the students that cybersecurity and Device security are very much interesting and students have to study their subjects with their applications.  He explained that device security is the one area where students can explore lot of project ideas which will be coming under virtual reality, Augmented reality.  So, students should read their fundamental subjects of Electrical Engineering like Transmission and Distribution, Smart Grid, Electrical Machines, Power System Analysis and simulation tools and devices like MATLAB, Android application development and designing and developing Device security for the above applications. He also has shown RFID cards and NFC cards and the processing boards which he uses for his research.  He also told that he can help for few students who really interested in doing projects in the above said areas.

     Finally he advised the students that Attitude, dreaming big, perseverance, Hard work, never give-up attitude, development of various skill sets will yield better results for their professional life.  Good Ethical behavior like gratitude for teachers, Institution, Parents, friends and others are very much required attributes to keep their life moving forward and better growth in a faster pace.  The students found this programme very useful and they could able to get awareness on Cybersecurity and device security.
