A Seminar on “DESIGN YOUR DESTINY” was conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with Andrios Club on 27.09.2022. On this day Ms.Haripriya gave a presentation to the 2nd, 3rd and Final year students about “SMART INDIA HACKATHON” (SIH) and created awareness among the students about the event.

Smart India Hackathon (SIH) is a nationwide initiative to provide students a platform to solve some of pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem solving.In SIH, the students would have the opportunity to work on challenges faced within the private sector organisations and create world class solutions for some of the top companies in the world, thus helping the Private sector hire the best minds from across the nation.

She also gave a live demonstration of the various domains available in SIH and the various problem statements available under each domain in SIH platform. She shared her experience about her participation in the event. The participants actively interacted with the resource person and they also clarified their doubts regarding the registration process and participation in the event, after which the students discussed among them teammates to select their team’s domain.
