The National Service Scheme (NSS) organized a “Green Technology and Future – Awareness Camp” on 23.02.2026 at Unjapalayam Village to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices among the local community. The program commenced at 2:00 PM with a welcome address by Mr. Aravindhan S, II ECE. This was followed by a guest speech at 2:05 PM delivered by Ms. S. Shanmugapriya from the ECO Club, JIT, who emphasized the importance of green technology and its role in protecting the environment. After the session, NSS volunteers actively engaged in creating awareness across different parts of the village. Teams of volunteers visited the South, North, East, and West sides of Unjapalayam Village to interact with residents and explain the benefits of eco-friendly technologies, waste management, and sustainable living practices. The awareness activities helped villagers understand the significance of environmental protection. The event concluded at 3:00 PM with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Gokulraj B, II ECE.
