“Meendum Manjal Pai” (மீண்டும் மஞ்சள் பை

An awareness campaign to Encourage Use of Cloth Bags & Discard Plastic Bags “Meendum Manjal Pai” (மீண்டும் மஞ்சள் பை) was organised by Jansons Eco Club in association with NSS team at Chennappa chettipudhur village, Coimbatore. Mrs.L Agnes Preethi, Incharge of Jansons Eco Club and Dr. K. Senthamil Selvan organised the program.
Students assembled at the Chennappa chetti pudhur Primary school at 9:30am . Students were instructed about the tasks to be done and discussions were made about the awareness to be given regarding Use of Cloth Bags & Discard Plastic Bags.
Students had the banners indicating the benefits of cloth bags and the ill effects of using plastic bags. By 10:00am campaign started and students along with the faculty member, Mrs. L Agnes Preethi, Incharge of Jansons Eco Club visited the houses and shops in the village and insisted the public to use cloth bags and to avoid plastic bags. The public gave a good response and appreciated the effort of students. The campaign was completed by 3:30pm.
