Awareness Program on Amateur Radio

The Department of ECE organized an event titled “Awareness Program on Amateur Radio” in association with JIT-Amateur Radio Club on February 2^nd 2018. The participants were from First year classes, totally of about 40 Students. The benefits of joining amateur radio service were explained with practical examples and case studies, besides encouraging youth to become partners in socio-economic development.

The student members encouraged all the participants to become Radio Hams in order to explore new inventions in the field Electronics & Communications. The session was made interactive by the students with their interesting questions. Positive feedback was received at the end of the event and expected to have more events in the near future. The JIT-Amateur Radio club thanked the Management, Principal and the Head of the Department for their immense support and encouragement.
