IEEE Student Member Recruitment Drive

Jansons Institute of Technology IEEE has conducted a Recruitment Drive program. The event had great success with 250 participants through YouTube. Live streaming started exactly at 6 PM on 28 May 2021 Miss. Sri Varshini, Chairperson, JIT IEEE SB has started the session, Dr.S. Elangovan elaborated about IEEE. This program helps the participants to know about what are the various benefits of IEEE student membership, Such us To be updated technically current and volunteering, Miss. Sofiya Fahima explained about IEEE and where it originated, its mission and vision, about IEEE Regional structure, member and explained about geographic activities, board and regions chapters, sections, subsections, student branches counselors, students apprentice groups, and elucidated the opportunities and benefits of IEEE. She even gave an overview on the student awards, scholarships, fellowships, student competitions, voting rights and IEEE societies and councils and scholarship and funding and flagship events of IEEE.

Sri Varshini explained about Professional networking, discounts available for IEEE members and continuing education program. She explained theexecutive committee and contests conducted by IEEE. She kindle the thirst by sharing the achievements of IEEE JIT volunteers
