

JIT –IETE Students Forum (ISF) in association with Department of Electronics and communication Engineering, JIT -IIC and NDLI club organised a webinar on the topic “Igniting Innovation: Exploring Accelerators and Incubators for Budding Entrepreneurs “on 09.08.2025. Mr. Boobalan Natarajan Founder of Boys Mobiles, Fito6 Fitness Studio & Gyroz Studio has been invited as chief guest for this event. We live in a world where new ideas can change lives. But an idea alone is not enough — it needs
the right support, guidance, and resources to grow. That’s where accelerators and incubators come in.
Incubators help early-stage entrepreneurs develop their ideas slowly, providing mentorship, workspace, and basic resources. Accelerators, on the other hand, are like a fast-track program — they push startups to grow quickly with intensive training, expert guidance, and networking opportunities. For students and young innovators, these platforms open doors to learning, collaboration, and even funding. They connect dreamers with experienced mentors, industry experts, and potential investors.
Mrs. R. Kowsalya, IETE Faculty coordinator addressed the gathering with welcome address and talked about the necessity of innovative product in the field of electronics, explained the role of Accelerators and Incubators who can turn a small spark of innovation into a real product or service. Ms. D. Gracelin Stephy, IETE Student Member, III ECE unveiled the chief guest profile.
Mr. Boobalan Natarajan handled the session. He explained the importance of innovation in product development. He shared his experience in establishing Boys Mobiles, Fito6 Fitness Studio & Gyroz Studio. He said how he Grew the business into 44 outlets including retail, wholesale, and franchise modules. He talked about unique ideas to get funding from accelerators. He also highlighted some other
startups which developed many successful products for the welfare of people. Finally, he interacted with students and clarified their doubts. Then feedback was collected from students. Ms.D. Gracelin Stephy, IETE Student Member, III ECE delivered vote of thanks.
