IoT Sensors for Industrial Automation

The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized Webinar on “IoT Sensors for Industrial Automation” in association with IIoT Club on 03rd March, 2019 for all students (All Departments). The Guest Lecture was organized by Mrs.P.Eswari, of ECE Department at Seminar Hall, Jansons Institute of Technology (JIT) Coimbatore. The session was presided over by the respected resource person Mr. Bhuvaneshkumar S, founder of Bisect Technologies, Coimbatore. He lucidly explicated the pivotal role of IOT sensors playing in automation .He further went on to shed light on the areas where these are utilized to enhance productivity and performance. 

The session concluded with a Q and A session. More than 100 students from various departments, HODs and faculty members took part in the event. The students stated that his articulation and the provided information was an eye opener for them and they learnt about application of sensors in Automation Industry. The overall program was enriching and highly informative.
The session ended with positive response from students and thanked our Management for providing an opportunity to have sessions that are more technical on various tools to enrich their knowledge.
