Workshop on “Problem Solving & Ideation”

A Workshop on “Problem Solving & Ideation” was conducted by the Indian Institute of Production Engineers (IIPE), Department of Mechanical Engineering, Jansons Institute of Technology in association with JIT-IIC on 07.10.2022. Students of Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Mechanical Engineering were participated in the workshop and a total of 76 participants (70 Students and 06 faculties) actively involved in the session. The need for stating the problem, ways to get the problem and methods for ideation was discussed among the participants. The participants formed a team as of their choice and taken a problem statement. Participants explore the different problem as a team and shared the concept of ideation with in the team. One member from each team shared about the problem to all the remaining participants. The different ideas were discussed as a solution to the stated problem. The ideation workshop was ended with a feedback session through online mode. Participants felt the session was informative and gave a clear understanding on Ideation.
