The JIT ISTE Student Chapter, in association with the JIT-IIC and NDLI clubs, organized a workshop on “Prototype/Process Design and Development” from 17.04.2024 to 18.04.2024 for the ECE students. On April 17, 2024, the workshop started at 9:30 a.m. with a welcome address by Ms.D. Sanjana of second-year ECE department, followed by the speaker, Mrs. N. Krishnapriya,AP/ECE,who explained the importance of prototypes and the role of prototyping in the design process in the morning session. In the afternoon session, she has explained how to conceptualize the design through sketches and models, selecting appropriate materials and components, and creating a functional prototype.

       On April 18, 2024, the workshop started at 9:30 a.m. with a welcome address by Ms. G. Sadurthika of second-year ECE department, followed by the speaker, Mr.NMK Theyzeswarr, founder and MD of Clover Technologies, who discussed prototype testing and testing tools in the morning session. He also discussed conducting functional tests to verify that the prototype meets design specifications, assessing performance under various conditions, and gathering user feedback to evaluate usability in the afternoon session. In total, 40 students participated in this event.
