Workshop on Prototype/Process Design and Development         

      The JIT ISTE Student Chapter, in association with the JIT-IIC and NDLI clubs, organized a workshop on “Prototype/Process Design and Development” from 22.04.2025 to 23.04.2025 for the ECE students. On April 22, 2025, the workshop started at 9:30 a.m. with a welcome address by Ms.P.Nandhana  of second-year ECE department, followed by the speaker, Mr.S.T.Akilan, Corporate Trainer of Clover Technologies, led the morning session with insights on prototype testing and various testing tools. In the afternoon, he focused on conducting functional tests to ensure the prototype aligns with design specifications, evaluating performance under different conditions, and collecting user feedback to assess usability.

       On April 23, 2025, the workshop started at 9:30 a.m. with a welcome address by Ms. S. Dhanusa of second-year ECE department, followed by the speaker, Dr.P.Sivamani, ASP/ECE, Innovation Ambassador who explained the importance of prototypes and the role of prototyping in the design process in the morning session. In the afternoon session, Dr. C. Shanmugam,ASP/ECE, Innovation Ambassador discussed how to conceptualize designs through sketches and models, select appropriate materials and components, and create a functional prototype. In total, 40 students participated in this event.
