ETHICAL HACKING         

An awareness program on “ETHICAL HACKING” was organized by IWCC for female student members of JIT. Ms.Vijipriya.G, Member, IWCC headed the session. The session started by 3.45 P.M. Dr.Supriya.S, Chairperson, IWCC, JIT welcomed the gathering. 

         The speaker focused on the different ways of ethical hacking. She explained that  Ethical hacking and ethical hacker are terms used to describe hacking performed by a company or individual to help identify potential threats on a computer or network.  She gave awareness on how an ethical hacker attempts to bypass system security and search for any weak points that could be exploited by malicious hackers.

          The speaker finally concluded on giving the theory behind ethical hacking that, if a white hat can break a computer system, then a black hat can use the same points of entry to promote illegal activity.
