Voice your Thoughts – Women Achievers from the Past to Present
A program on “Voice your Thoughts – Women Achievers from the Past to Present” was organized by IWCC for female students & staff members of JIT on 25.02.2021 from 3.45 p.m. to 4.15 p.m. Prof. Sivamani.P, member, IWCC, welcomed the gathering. The day focused on the achievements and inspiring careers accomplished by women achievers from the past to present. M.S.Bhuvaneswari / IV ECE, Jandyam Venkata Varshitha Rao / I AI&DS, Vidavalaru Divyanjali / I AI&DS & Ramya Sree / I ECE presented their speech by looking back at the last decade in which several women became the first to achieve what they set out to do. Many powerful women achievers from the past were remembered and to name some were Mrs Indira Gandhi, Sarojini Naidu, Mother Teresa, Lata Mangeshkar, Saina Nehwal, Sania Mirza, Kalpana Chawla and Sunita Williams, who have earned good name as astronauts. Through their intelligence and diligence, women have achieved proficiency in all leading sectors.
