A Youth Talk on “ISRO SECOND TO NONE”
In view of Centenary Celebrations of Vikram Sarabhai “The father of Indian space program” JIT-Amateur radio club and JIT-Mobility club jointly organized a youth talk with the theme “ISRO SECOND TO NONE” on 12-08-2020 at 2.00pm. The event is live streamed in the JiT eEDU – An JIT eLearning Platform. Welcome address was given by Ms.Shofiya Fahima.K of IV year ECE. Followed by welcome address participants showed their power packed talk on title “ISRO-Second to None”. They were judged based on Speech Construction, Content Prepared, Presentation &Delivery, and Effectiveness. The jury panel members are Dr. A. Velayudham, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Dr. T. Meenakshi, Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Dr.K.Moorthi, Professor, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Dr.P.Meena Sundari, Professor/Chemistry, Department of Science and Humanities.
After preliminary screening, fourteen students have been shortlisted for the Final Competition. Based on the performance, the contest was evaluated and best talk were honored with an Appreciation Certificate. Other participants were complimented with participation certification.
The event ended with the Vote of Thanks by A.Ashok Kumar of IV year Mechanical Engineering.
The JIT-Amateur Radio club and JIT Mobility Club thank the Management, Principal and Head of the Department for their immense support and encouragement.
