Photography Contest – Onam Celebration to promote Tolerance & Harmony

Onam is a harvest festival. It promotes the message of unity in diversity, social harmony, and integration of all communities regardless of one’s gender, race, culture or religion. During the festival, there will be a range of cultural activities – for example, traditional dance music – not only from the Indian community but also from other cultural and religious groups too, including Sri Lankan, Chinese, Afghan and Nepalese communities. This allows other cultural groups to participate and showcase their own culture.

MOPHO Club of Jansons Institute of Technology organised an online Photography Contest on the occasion of Onam Celebration to promote Tolerance and Harmony for JIT students. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the whole program was conducted virtually. Students were asked to upload photographs related to the theme with an appropriate tag line. Winners list is given below. E- Certificates were provided to all the participants and winners.
