Anti-Terrorism Day – “United Against Terror: Building a Secure and Inclusive Future”

The “Anti-Terrorism Day” event on May 21, 2024, from 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm, at the Seminar Hall of Jansons Institute of Technology, was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) in collaboration with NDLI Club and first-year students. The event commenced with an opening ceremony featuring a welcome address and an introduction to the event. Following the opening ceremony, Ms.Ramija Banu delivered a speech in English on the topic of Anti-Terrorism. She addressed the significance of Anti-Terrorism Day, emphasizing remembrance for victims, collective action against terrorism, and support for survivors.  Afterward, students Ms.Chaduvula Harshitha and Ms.Challagundala Pavani gave an interactive conversation about the awareness of Anti-Terrorism. Subsequently Mr.Sanjay K presented a video providing an overview of Anti-Terrorism. He shared the main impact and cause of terrorism. Then, Mr.Kawinkumar presented a PowerPoint about the history of Anti-Terrorism day.By this presentation he also shared some Laws and significance of Anti-Terrorism. Then, Mr.Bannari Dhanush gave an Interactive Tamil Speech about the threats of Terrorism .He shares about the importance of withstanding against terrorism through collective efforts. Following the Tamil speech, the event was highlighted by taking a Pledge on Anti-Terrorism Day by Ms. Parkavi. The event concluded with a feedback session and closing remarks. Overall, the event provided valuable information and guidance to help students stay unity and also made students to promote peace in society.
