COVID-19 Vaccination Awareness Programme for Semmandampalyam Village people

Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) was declared a “pandemic” by the World Health Organization (WHO) in early March 2020. Globally, extraordinary measures are being adopted to combat the formidable spread of the ongoing outbreak. Under such conditions, people’s adherence to preventive measures is greatly affected by their awareness of the disease. Particularly, Vaccination plays a vital role in controlling the spreading of virus from one to other. Also our government takes so many steps to create awareness about the importance of vaccination.
In this regard, JIT volunteers created awareness about the COVID-19 vaccines Covidshield and Covaxin, its importance and necessity at this situation. We cleared the doubts and fear of village people about the vaccines and its side effects. In this event we had interaction with more than 200 people in Semmandampalayam village. The village people gave complete support to make the programme grand success.
