Drive Against Drugs

VE-SIP call and the NSS team has jointly organised the Drive against Drugs – awareness programme for JIT students on 24.11.2022. In this event, Dr. M.V Suresh Kumar, Director – Administration gave the welcome address and the special address was given by Thiru. Rajadurai, Inspector of Police, Karumathampatti Police Station, Coimbatore. In his speech, he added that “Drive Against Drug’ (DAD), an operation being carried out all over the central zone by the law enforcers over the past one month with a view to checking smuggling and illegal sale of narcotics substances.” Then, Thiru. M. Uthaya Chandran, Sub-Inspector of Police, Karumathampatti Police Station, and Coimbatore address the gathering about the impact of using drugs and its impacts on society.
