Free Eye Check-up Camp

The “Free Eye Checkup Camp” event on Feb 26, 2025, from 10:00 AM at Unjapalayam Village, was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) in collaboration with The Eye Foundation, Coimbatore.  The event commenced with an inauguration by Dr. Maaligai Sarkar and his team, followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Mr. Sanjay K, a second-year ECE student. The medical team, led by Dr. Maaligai Sarkar, conducted comprehensive eye checkups for the attendees, ensuring quality healthcare services for all participants. As a token of appreciation, an appreciation memento was presented to the medical team by Dr. K. Senthamil Selvan, NSS Program Officer, along with NSS volunteers. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mr. Venkatesh Kumar S, a second-year CSE student, expressing gratitude to the medical team, organizers, and volunteers for their valuable contributions. The camp was a great success, benefiting many individuals and highlighting the importance of eye health.
