Free Eye Checkup and General Medical Camp

The Free Eye Checkup and General Medical Camp was organized by the National Service Scheme in association with The Eye Foundation, Coimbatore, and Pukra Super Speciality Hospital on 21.02.2026 at Unjapalayam Village. The program began at 10.00 AM with a welcome address delivered by Mr. Sivaprakash S, II CSBS. Following the inauguration, a team of doctors conducted free eye examinations and general medical checkups for the villagers. The medical professionals carefully examined patients, provided consultations, and offered guidance regarding eye care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. Villagers actively participated and benefited from the free health services provided during the camp. After the checkup session, the doctors conducted a health awareness guidance session where they educated the public on maintaining good health, proper hygiene, and the importance of regular medical checkups. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Vinitha M, II ECE, appreciating the support of the medical team and volunteers.
