The National Service Scheme organized an NSS Orientation Programme at Jansons Institute of Technology on July 15, 2023, for first-year students. Six faculty members, along with 171 students, attended the event at 11:00 AM. Mr. A. Manisekar, Deputy Chief Scientist of the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board, explained the significance of cloth bag distribution. NSS volunteers actively participated in distributing reusable cloth bags to students and teachers, promoting eco-friendly practices. These bags serve as an environmentally conscious alternative to plastic, aiming to reduce plastic waste and protect the environment.
