NSS Day Celebration

The NSS Day Celebration on 24th September 2025 was held at JIT Campus with the theme “Viksit Bharat 2047.” The event commenced at 3:15 PM with a warm welcome address by Ms. Punithavathi A, followed by a motivating NSS speech in English delivered by Mr. Mohammed Afsar S, highlighting the values of service, unity, and leadership among youth. Ms. Vinitha M then addressed the gathering in Tamil, emphasizing the cultural significance of NSS in nurturing socially responsible citizens. The key highlight of the programme was an inspiring speech on “Viksit Bharat 2047” by Dr. K. Senthamil Selvan, Programme Officer, National Service Scheme, who shared insights on the role of students in shaping a developed India by 2047 through innovation, discipline, and service. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Bharkavi S. Overall, the celebration instilled a sense of patriotism, service spirit, and responsibility among students.
