“Swachhata Hi Seva”-Clean Campus Green Campus

The “Swachhata Hi Seva” – Clean Campus Green Campus event on Sep 28, 2024, from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm, at the Campus of Jansons Institute of Technology, was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS). The event began with a warm welcome address, setting a positive tone for the day. Dr. K. Senthamil Selvan, the NSS Programme Officer, delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the importance of cleanliness and community involvement in the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative. A key moment of the event was the cleaning activity, where enthusiastic students worked together, successfully collecting 40 kg of waste from the campus grounds. The waste was carefully segregated into recyclable and non-recyclable materials, further promoting environmental awareness. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of all volunteers, and organizers. It not only left the campus cleaner but also fostered a greater sense of responsibility and environmental consciousness among the participants.Top of Form
