World HIV/AIDS Day Awareness
The World HIV/AIDS Day Awareness programme was conducted on 1st December 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the Seminar Hall, organized by the Red Ribbon Club and Youth Red Cross in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS). The event aimed to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, its modes of transmission, prevention methods, and the importance of empathy toward people living with HIV. The session included informative talks highlighting myths and facts, the significance of regular health check-ups, and the role of youth in spreading awareness. Students actively participated and gained clarity on misconceptions related to HIV/AIDS. The programme emphasized social responsibility, health awareness, and the need for a stigma-free society. The event concluded with a message encouraging students to act as ambassadors of awareness within their communities.
