Book Review Event – 26.11.2021

A Book Review Event was conducted on 26 th Nov, 2021 by the National Digital Library Association of India (NDLI Club) of Jansons Institute of Technology in association with the Tamil Mandram on the Seminar Hall from 03.15 PM onwards. The Main objective of the event was to share the view of the book read and encourage the reading habit of the students. The book taken for the review was Draupadi written by Mr. Vamsi Krishna. Faculties and Students of various departments actively registered for the book review event a total of 113 participants involved in the event. The event was started with a welcome address delivered by Ms. Brindha Prakasha Darshini, III ECE followed by the prayer song. The Book was reviewed by Ms. Sree Poorna, III CSE. Draupadi is one of the important female characters in the one of the Indian Epic Mahabharata. The Novel unfolds the Mahabharata in Draupadi’s Point of view. The novel focuses towards equality, moral and ethical values etc., Discussion session was carried out after the book review and participants shared their views about the book reviewed. Mr.S.Vinothagan, IV Mech delivered the vote of thanks and finally the event was ended with a National Anthem.
