Discussion Event (Vivadha Medai)
An Online Discussion Event (Vivadha Medai) was conducted by the Tamil Mandram of Jansons Institute of Technology in association with National Service Scheme and VE-SIP Cell in the remembrance of Mahatma Gandhiji’s 151th Birthday. The Theme of the discussion session was “Universal Human Values”. The Various human values needed for the enriching the human life was discussed by the students of Jansons Institute of Technology.
The event link was shared to all the students of various departments. A total of46 Participants (12 Faculties and 34 Students) joined the online session. The event was started with a welcome address delivered by Ms.Bhuvaneshwari, IV ECE. Mr.D.Aravind, IV ECE spoke on the life history of Mahatma Gandhiji. The following Students from different departments shared their thoughts over the topic on “Human Values”.
- Ms.Angel Melba,II CSE shared her views on the Human Values in Education. How the education cultivates the human beings and how it enriches the human life for the betterment were shared to the participants.
- Mr.Deepak Kumar,II CSE discussed about Human Values in Way of Living. The role of talent and positive thoughts to excel in life was also discussed by him. (Full stop)
- Ms.Monica Nancy,II ECE shared about Human Values in Family: About family, Important of family support and How the family will built the nation were shared by her
- Mr.Heyram, II EEE discussed Human Values in Society. How a society has to be and how it influences the human life were briefly explained.
- Ms.Thamilini,II CSE shared her views on Human Values in Nature: How the Nature is utilized by the humans and Why maintaining harmony of the natural order is important, were clearly expressed.
- Mr.Senthurvelan,III ECE discussed about Human Values in Thoughts: How values like kindness, honesty, integrity, truthfulness, empathy, virtues etc. makes the world better for living and how the thoughts brings all the well-being to the community were conversed by him.
Finally the session was ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Deepana S, IV ECE. The entire event was hosted by Mr.D.Aravind, Secretary of Tamil Mandram. Feedback link was shared to the participants about the session and they found the entire session was very useful and interesting.
