STUDENT INDUCTION PROGRAM – 2020-2021

The Induction Program was started on 14th September 2020. All the new entrants were guided by the faculty members to join online links for their respective departments.

The students were warmly welcomed by the respective Head of their departments and their class mentors. Then, the Head of their department delivered the welcome speech. Students were given the information and prospective of their branch, various facilities and infrastructure available at the Institute by the Head of their department. Then class mentors briefed about their roles & responsibilities and rules & regulations to be followed at the Institute. In view of Centenary Celebrations of Students Induction program Dr. S. Anantha Ramakrishnan, Director, CSIR – CSIO,  inaugurated  the function on 14-09-2020.

The Student Induction Program was engaged with various activities by involving the students in Sports, physical fitness, games, universal human values lectures, campus tour etc through online.
